Like a cute mouse - we got a little behind
Right then, time for a bit of honesty from theaardvark...
It's been quiet here lately. But don't worry, Sha's been doing her usual brilliant thing - crafting posts when her FND allows, being wheely open and honest about where she is on her journey.
The real culprit behind our radio silence? Yours truly.
Long-COVID fatigue and ADHD Executive Dysfunction make quite the tag team when it comes to derailing website maintenance. Who knew that "I'll just quickly update the site this evening" could become a two-month series of repeated task engagement failures, punctuated by endless "too tired to work" evenings where even opening a laptop felt like climbing Everest?
It's been a proper comedy of errors, really. Sha creates brilliant content, hands it over with the patience of a saint, and I promptly file it in that special ADHD folder marked "I'll definitely do this tomorrow" - which, as we all know, exists in a parallel universe where tomorrow never comes.
But we're back! The mouse has found its wheels again, and I've finally remembered how websites work (mostly).
We'll be catching up with the post Sha has already written, probably in batches of 3 or 4 at a time. And we've got posts planned about:
- A review of Bearded Theory festival with accessibility in mind
- How we did Bearded Theory and the music we saw
- The same for Beautiful Days
- More about Sha's new Trekinetic GTE wheelchair
- Some about the Rueba Rascal wheelchair she's had for a while
- Maybe something about the Skoda Enyaq we have on Motability and which we use to cart Sha's wheelchairs around.
Thanks for sticking with us while my brain had its little holiday. Normal, wheely good (but occasionally patchy) service will now resume! πβΏοΈ
