Sunday 22nd March 2026 — Silver Linings 💜

After the absolute devastation of yesterday — realising there was zero chance of making it out for gig shenanigans with our bestival friends — today turned out to be quietly, unexpectedly lovely.

We took the Rascal Rueba CT wheelchair to its new owner.

I'm grinning from ear to ear while writing this. That chair was destined for Lou. She got it for a fraction of what it was originally listed for — and she's gone from being mostly housebound to having the world open up in front of her. The look of joy on her face said everything.

I remember the day I got my first chair. The excitement. The sudden realisation that my world had just got so much bigger. That feeling stays with you. And being able to pass it on to someone else — to hand them that same expansion of their world — that's not something you can put a price on.

Kindness really does cost nothing.

Oh, and I may have debuted a new lush wig for the occasion. “Happy Sunday” face very much activated. 💁‍♀️✨
